Joseph J. Duggan – Chairman & CEO
Mr. Joseph Duggan is the Chairman and founding partner of BelAir Capital
Partners. Mr. Duggan is also the CEO for the BelAir group of companies,
where he is responsible for overseeing the risk management and investment
committees for the group of companies.
Mr. Duggan has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of investment banking, including corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in many of the world's primary capital markets. Mr. Duggan has extensive experience in transactional corporate finance and international capital markets, and has acted as lead manger, placement agent and advisor on billions of dollars of financing projects on a global basis.
Mr. Duggan has worked for several world-class money center banks, including a senior officer of a major Canadian bank where he managed their North American corporate finance activities. Mr. Duggan was the past Chairman and founding partner of Kingsdale Capital Corporation (an integrated investment banking company licensed in the USA and Canada) where he was responsible for all of the operating subsidiaries, chairing the corporate finance and underwriting committees, and overseeing the executive management committee of the partnership.
Maria Duggan – President
Maria Duggan is the President and Chief Operations Officer of Belair Capital Partners Inc. She is a computer systems graduate and has held a broad range of senior assignments with financial institutions, insurance companies as well as multi-national subsidiaries over the past 20 years.
Previous to her position with BelAir Capital Partners Mrs. Duggan was President and CEO of Majoco Group Inc., an international management and consulting company that focused on transactional cross border management and financial consulting clients seeking strategic solutions to a broad range of initiatives - including investments, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
While managing the operations of Majoco Group Inc. she was responsible for major client relationships as well as managing the strategic and transactional investment portfolios.
Mrs. Duggan has extensive systems, programming and operations experience working with a major USA based computer systems company where she was responsible for sales, training and systems support for international and domestic clients in all major sectors including manufacturing, banking and insurance.
Mrs. Duggan will work closely with the management and officers within the Belair Group and bring her senior level experience to bear on transactions undertaken by the group.
Joshua J. Duggan – Corporate Finance Associate
Mr. Joshua Duggan is a Corporate Finance Associate with Belair Capital Partners Inc. A recent graduate of Queen's University, he reports directly to the BelAir Capital management team working on special finance projects for the company.
Mr. Duggan's primary focus on these special projects is to manage and direct market research, corporate finance & financial analyses, corporate branding & positioning, mergers & acquisitions, and project financing.
Mr. Duggan's experience with corporate finance and international capital markets enables him to uniquely guide these special projects and provide the kind of vision and insight clients expect from BelAir.
